A terrifying incident was reported in Nepal’s Bajura district when a massive rock fell onto a passenger bus traveling along the Karnali Corridor.
The driver and passengers noticed signs of rocks and soil beginning to slide from the mountain slope ahead of them. Alerted to the danger, they quickly got off the bus and moved away from the area to reach a safe distance.
Just seconds after they evacuated, a huge rock broke loose from the mountainside and rolled rapidly down the slope, striking the bus with tremendous force.
The passengers and driver managed to escape before the impact, avoiding what could have been a tragedy.
