Moscow.– More than 110 flights were canceled in a day at the airports of Moscow and St. Petersburg due to Ukrainian drone attacks, Russian aviation authorities reported today.
As a spokesman for the air regulator Rosaviatsia wrote on Telegram, between 08:00 on Sunday and 08:00 on Monday, 118 flights were suspended in the two main Russian cities.
Another 203 flights were delayed by more than two hours, it added.
Furthermore, on yesterday’s day a total of 59 flights were diverted to airports other than their destination point.
Moscow suffered one of the largest enemy drone attacks over the weekend, which forced the main capital airports to close several times.

The previous massive attack against the Russian capital took place in May, on the eve of the celebrations of the Victory Day of the Red Army over Nazi Germany.
