U.S. President Donald Trump said Tuesday that the United States maintains full control over the Strait of Hormuz and claimed that Iran lacks the ability to respond to the U.S. naval blockade.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump described the American operation as an “iron wall” and said there was “nothing Iran can do about it.” He also stated that Washington expects to maintain control of the strategic waterway.

Trump further argued that Iran lacks the military capacity to respond effectively, claiming that the country has no functioning navy or air force and that its remaining troops are not being paid.

The president also said that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has been significantly weakened and that Iran’s leadership is uncertain. These statements reflect Trump’s assessment of Iran’s military and political situation.
