Caracas.– Venezuelan actress Yorgelis Delgado and her mother, Gladys Escalona de Delgado, were found lifeless after remaining missing since the strong earthquakes that shook Venezuela on June 24.
The information was confirmed on Friday, July 3, by the victims’ relatives through a statement released on social media, after a nine-day search through the rubble of the building where they resided.

In the message, those close to the family expressed their gratitude for the shows of support received during the days of uncertainty and pain.
“We sincerely appreciate all the prayers, messages of support, gestures of solidarity, and the companionship we received during these days of searching, anguish, and hope,” they indicated.
Likewise, the family requested respect and privacy to cope with the grief following the tragedy.
“Now it is our turn to say goodbye to them with broken hearts, but also with love, gratitude and respect for their lives,” they added.
