Israeli airstrikes killed at least five Palestinians in Gaza City on Monday, according to hospital officials.
Shifa Hospital said two people were killed when a strike hit the entrance of a residential building near the city’s municipal park. Two others were reportedly seriously injured.
A second strike hit a vehicle in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, killing three people. The Israeli military said it targeted suspected militants in the vehicle but did not provide evidence.
According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, at least 1,320 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire in Gaza since the ceasefire agreement reached in October.
