The CEO also highlighted that this season, which begins this Wednesday, is dedicated to Don Juan Marichal, a mound legend who delighted fans and opponents with his enormous talent for pitching. For his part, Vitelio Mejía Ortiz, president of LIDOM, thanked Banreservas for its support as the main sponsor of the tournament, which brings together the six teams that make up the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League. Also, the Minister of Sports, Kelvin Cruz, stated that the new generations have in Juan Marichal a living example of discipline and commitment to develop a sports career full of successes. The unveiling of the trophy was carried out by Dr. Leonardo Aguilera, Vitelio Mejía Ortiz, Juan Marichal, and the representatives of the teams that will compete for the cup.
