HOUSTON, USA.- Cristopher Sánchez secured his 17th victory of the season this Wednesday, the highest win total of his career, in the game where the Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Houston Astros 11-7.

The Dominican left-hander worked for six innings, in which he allowed 10 hits and six runs, issued one walk, and struck out five batters. Despite the punishment received, he had the necessary offensive support to take the win.
With this result, Sánchez improved his season record to 17-6 and lowered his ERA to 2.79, solidifying himself as one of the key pieces of the Phillies’ rotation.
The victory has a special meaning for the Dominican, as it is the first time he has reached 17 wins in a Major League season, thus setting a new personal record.
Philadelphia had to come from behind in the game after starting at a 4-0 disadvantage. The offense responded with an 11-run production, led by Kyle Schwarber, who hit a grand slam in the sixth inning to reach 44 home runs, leading the Major Leagues.
Trea Turner also sent the ball out of the park, while Luis Arráez and Edmundo Sosa contributed to the Phillies’ offense.
