CARACAS, VENEZUELA.– The acting president of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, exalted the historic championship won by Venezuela in the 2026 World Baseball Classic, after defeating the United States 3-2 in the grand final.

For the first time, we are champions of the World Baseball Classic. This triumph is the victory of the passion, talent, and unity that characterizes us as Venezuelans,” he affirmed.
