New York. – Dominican Juan Soto this Sunday became the first Major League player to reach 30 home runs and 20 stolen bases in 2025.

Soto, 26 years old, also joins the group of players in the history of the franchise to achieve a 30-20, being only the seventh to achieve it and the second since 2010, along with his teammate Francisco Lindor.
This marks the first time in his career that Soto reaches 20 steals.
Soto is also on the verge of another historic feat: if he hits 10 more home runs, he will become the first player since 1999 to record a season of 40 HR, 20 SB, and 100 walks.
Only four players since 1961 have achieved that combination: Jeff Bagwell, Barry Bonds, Chipper Jones, and Carl Yastrzemski.
