NEW YORK.– Dominican Juan Soto continues to solidify his position as one of the great figures of Major League Baseball after being named to his fifth All-Star Game, a recognition that reaffirms his status among the best players in baseball and strengthens a career path that points toward the Hall of Fame.

At just 27 years old, the Mets outfielder has built an impressive resume that includes a World Series title, a batting championship, an OPS crown, and a $765 million contract. Furthermore, he will become the youngest player to play in an All-Star Game with four different franchises.
“I always feel a lot of gratitude. Last year I fell short and that motivated me. I had to be better to be among the best in the league, and thank God I achieved it,” Soto expressed.
Mets interim manager Andy Green did not spare any praise for the Dominican player.
“I think he has set his mind on being one of the best players in the history of this sport. That is the place where he belongs: the All-Star Game,” stated Green.
Soto currently leads the National League in on-base percentage (.410), slugging (.575), and OPS+ (173). Since the beginning of June, he is batting .364, with seven home runs, 19 RBIs, and an on-base percentage of .505, reaffirming his offensive dominance.
