Santo Domingo. The Dominican presence continues to leave historical marks in Major League Baseball after Major League Baseball officially revealed the ballot for the 2026 All-Star Game, which features 33 players born in the Dominican Republic or of Dominican descent.

The mid-season classic will be held on July 14th at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, and once again, Dominican talent holds a privileged place among the top figures of both leagues.
Of the 33 Dominican representatives included on the ballot, 21 belong to the National League, reflecting the offensive and defensive impact that Dominicans continue to have in the best baseball in the world.

Among the most prominent names are superstars Juan Soto, Fernando Tatis Jr., Manny Machado, Ketel Marte, Elly de la Cruz, Teoscar Hernandez, and Rafael Devers, who will seek to earn the fans’ support to join the All-Star Game starting lineup.
The National League also features players such as Geraldo Perdomo, Willy Adames, Oneil Cruz, Ramón Laureano, Jorge Polanco, and Marcell Ozuna, consolidating a strong Caribbean representation across multiple positions on the field.
Meanwhile, the American League features important Dominican figures and those of Dominican roots such as Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Julio Rodríguez, Jeremy Peña, Junior Caminero, José Ramírez, and Yainer Díaz, all with outstanding performances during the 2026 season.
The first phase of voting officially began on June 3rd and will remain open until Thursday the 25th. Fans will be able to cast up to five votes daily via MLB.com, the teams’ official pages, the MLB app, and MLB Ballpark.
MLB Network will announce at the end of this stage the players with the most votes by position and the leading outfielders in each league, who will advance to Phase 2 of the voting, scheduled from June 29 to July 2.
