Although the Early Camp is optional, all players who make up the club’s squad can participate, with the aim of starting to work early in order to reach the highest level of conditions.

This camp is ideal for those players who had little participation in the summer or whose teams finished a while ago.

For the 22nd of this month, that is, a week later, the complete Águilas Camp will open, where the presence of all players in the country is expected.

As part of the preparation, the team plans to play several exhibition games, with a view to the tournament dedicated to Juan Marichal, which will begin on October 15.

At the front of the training will be the team’s coaching staff, until the arrival of manager Luis “Pipe” Urueta, who still has commitments in the United States. It will be his first time managing the Águilas Cibaeñas team. Urueta, a successful manager in Dominican autumn-winter baseball, will take the reins of the team for the first time.

Currently, the Eagles have several players in Major League Baseball, while those who were in Mexico have already concluded their participation. 16 new prospects who were selected last Wednesday in the Rookie Draft are added to the Eagles’ roster.

The Vice President of Baseball Operations, René Francisco, and the General Manager, Gian Guzmán, are working on forming the team, talking to the local players and hiring reinforcements.
