The Oklahoma team dominated the match with an outstanding collective performance, including 18 three-pointers. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the offense with 22 points, while Jalen Williams returned to the lineup after a long absence and contributed 18 points, six assists, and four rebounds. Center Isaiah Hartenstein added a double-double of 10 points and 12 rebounds. In another result of the day, Frenchman Victor Wembanyama shone with 26 points and 15 rebounds in the San Antonio Spurs’ 136-111 victory over the Miami Heat. With his performance, Wembanyama surpassed the 4,000-point mark in his NBA career, reaffirming his impact on the league. The Spurs also secured the Southwest Division title, something they hadn’t achieved since the 2016-17 season, and remain among the teams qualified for the playoffs, while Miami is going through a negative streak that complicates their aspirations of advancing directly to the postseason. In Detroit, the Detroit Pistons defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 113-110, ending the Los Angeles team’s nine-game winning streak. Dannis Jenkins led Detroit with 30 points and Jalen Duren recorded a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds. For the Lakers, Luka Doncic played the game after an appeal from the team related to a technical foul, while LeBron James came close to a triple-double with 12 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds. The day left the Thunder as the protagonists, who are going through one of their best moments of the season, and Wembanyama, who continues to achieve important milestones in his young NBA career.#Most read
