Santo Domingo.- Jonathan Villanueva, alias “Cotuí”, 26 years old, was one of the two people who lost their lives during a shooting attack that occurred Saturday afternoon in the Los Coquitos sector, Boca Chica municipality, Santo Domingo province.
Jesús Alexis Delgado Ortiz, 31, known in the urban music scene as Diddy Glow, also died in the incident. Five other people were injured during the shooting.

The injured were identified as Alexis José Castro Guzmán, alias “Alex”; Manuel Alberto Perdomo Báez, alias “Fran Kelly”; Javier Reyes, alias “Come Candela”; Alver Ozuna Beato, alias “Lisandro”, and Ismael Noboa Mejía, aged between 21 and 32 years old.
According to preliminary investigations by the National Police, there were personal grudges among some of the individuals involved related to an incident that occurred approximately a year ago. However, the circumstances and the specific motive for the attack remain under investigation.

The National Police reported that it continues investigation and tracking efforts to identify, locate, and apprehend those responsible, who will be placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry for the corresponding legal purposes.
