Punta Cana will have light rain and temperatures of up to 30 °C this Monday

Punta Cana.- The start of the week will be marked by variable conditions in Punta Cana, where for this Monday, August 24, light rain is expected during the early hours of the day, periods of cloudiness, and temperatures that could reach 30 degrees Celsius.

According to the forecast, light rain accompanied by a partly cloudy sky will prevail during the morning, with temperatures around 28 °C. In the afternoon, a gradual improvement is expected, with intervals of clouds and clear skies and values close to 29 and 30 degrees.

The forecast for the entire day establishes a maximum temperature of 30 °C and a minimum of 26 °C, with a general probability of precipitation reaching 70% and estimated accumulations of around 3.2 millimeters.

The winds will blow predominantly from the east, with an average speed close to 22 kilometers per hour and gusts that could exceed 30 kilometers per hour at times.

Rain more likely during the morning and night

The most unstable conditions will be concentrated mainly during the morning. Towards midday and the early afternoon, the possibility of precipitation will decrease, although abundant cloudiness will persist over the tourist area.

During the night, the probability of showers will increase again, especially between 7:00 and 9:00 PM, while temperatures will drop to between 27 and 28 degrees.

High humidity will also cause the heat index to be higher than the recorded temperature, potentially exceeding 35 °C around midday and in the early afternoon.
