An unusual phenomenon at the Karet Dam on the Juwana River in Indonesia left millions of fish crowded near the surface after a sharp drop in water levels caused the riverbed to nearly dry up.
Videos shared on social media show the fish struggling to survive in the remaining water and across the mud. Local residents were seen collecting the fish in baskets, with many reportedly processing them as food for other species.
