A powerful tornado struck areas around Carcassonne, France, accompanied by hailstones measuring up to 3 to 5 centimeters.

The tornado reportedly caused significant damage, with homes severely damaged and some houses reportedly destroyed in the Pomas area.

Videos captured the phenomenon as it moved through the region.
