El Seibo.– Tragedy struck a Dominican family once again after a 16-year-old teenager lost his life by drowning while swimming with several friends in the waters of the Anama River, specifically at the bridge known as Los Pajones or Los Chivos River, in the province of El Seibo.
The victim was identified as Daurin Albeiro Paredes Trinidad, 16 years old, a resident of the Los Polanco sector, in the Hato Mayor del Rey municipality.
According to preliminary information, the teenager was with a group of friends when, under circumstances that are still being investigated, he disappeared beneath the river’s waters. His companions alerted the authorities, who arrived at the scene to carry out the corresponding efforts.
This unfortunate event has caused great dismay among family members, friends, and residents of the community, who mourn the loss of the young man.
