Santo Domingo. – The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, congratulated the Dominican basketball player Karl-Anthony Towns after winning the NBA championship with the New York Knicks, an achievement that marks the end of a 53-year wait for the historic franchise.
Through a message posted on the social network X, the president highlighted the New York team’s return to the pinnacle of professional basketball and celebrated the impact of the triumph, also emphasizing Towns’ participation in the title conquest.
