Abinader invites the country to follow his speech this February 27; “I will give an account to the country of what we have changed together”

Santo Domingo.– President Luis Abinader announced through his official WhatsApp channel this Thursday, February 27, on the occasion of National Independence Day, that he will present his accountability speech to the National Assembly, in which he will review the achievements of his administration and the pending challenges. The president shared the message and stated that the speech will be a space to reflect on the changes achieved and renew the commitment to the citizenry.

“I will report to the country on what we have changed together and what we still need to build. It will be a moment to look at the path traveled and renew the commitment with each Dominican,” said the head of state.

Abinader also invited the population to accompany the live broadcast of the speech through the official platforms of the Presidency, highlighting that it is an emblematic date for the nation.

The February 27th accountability report is a constitutional mandate through which the president informs the National Congress about the administrative, economic, and financial situation of the country, as well as the main actions of the Government and the projections for the current year.
