Santo Domingo.– President Luis Abinader will carry out an extensive workday this Saturday in Greater Santo Domingo, where he will lead the delivery of apartments, inaugurate three educational centers, a school roof, and a sports club, in addition to holding a meeting with students from public high schools and private schools.
With these actions, the Government seeks to strengthen education, sports, and access to decent housing, while expanding public services and promoting community development.
The agenda will begin at 11:00 in the morning with the inauguration of the first stage of the Ercilia Pepín High School, in the Hato Nuevo sector. The campus has 24 classrooms that will expand the capacity of the educational system in the area and offer modern spaces for the training of hundreds of students.
Subsequently, the president will put into operation the roofing and initial classrooms of the Feliz López de Vega School, located at kilometer 18 of the Duarte highway. In addition, by mention, the first stage of the José Reyes Educational Center, which has 12 classrooms, will be inaugurated.
Later, the head of state will lead the reopening of the renovated Dante Lemonier Sports Club, a project aimed at strengthening sports practice, recreation, and community integration through renewed facilities for children, youth, and adults.

As part of his agenda, Abinader will share a lunch with 400 students from public high schools and private colleges at the Pantoja sports center. The meeting seeks to foster dialogue with the youth and reaffirm the Government’s commitment to education, values-based training, and the integral development of new generations.
The day will continue in Santo Domingo Norte with the inauguration of the Minerva Mirabal Educational Center, in Los Cerros de Sabana Perdida. The school has 28 classrooms that will strengthen the community’s educational offerings and expand access to quality education.
The tour will conclude in Boca Chica, where the president will hand over apartments at the Residencial Nueva Esperanza, as part of government programs aimed at facilitating access to decent housing for Dominican families.
