Samaná.- As part of his efforts in favor of the development of Las Terrenas, political leader Agustín Tavárez held a working meeting with the executive director of the National Institute of Potable Water and Sewerage (INAPA), Wellington Arnaud, to follow up on the project for the expansion and modernization of the municipality’s potable water and sanitary sewer system.
During the meeting, Wellington Arnaud explained that the project contemplates a comprehensive intervention that will span from Cosón and Las Barbacoas to the communities in the upper part of the municipality, including the sectors located along the Las Terrenas–Sánchez highway.
The initiative seeks to strengthen drinking water and sanitation infrastructure, responding to the growth experienced by Las Terrenas and ensuring a more efficient service for its residents and visitors.

Agustín Tavárez stated that guaranteeing access to drinking water and a modern sewage system constitutes a priority for the present and future of the municipality. In that sense, he assured that he will continue to follow up on this project and promote dialogue with the competent institutions to contribute to the progress of the work for the benefit of all communities.
“Las Terrenas needs solutions that last over time. We will continue working and managing initiatives that contribute to the well-being of our people and the sustainable development of the municipality,” stated Tavárez.
