La Vega.- 52.98% of the savers of the La Vega Real Savings and Loan Association (Alaver) are women, who also hold 52.41% of the total balance in savings accounts, reflecting their active participation in the planning and administration of financial resources.

Female participation is also reflected in payment methods. In the case of credit cards, 53.71% of Alaver cardholders are women, consolidating their presence in the institution’s various financial portfolio products.The panel featured the participation of Gloria Reyes, Minister of Women, and Rosa Olga Medrano, president of Grupo Medrano, who shared reflections on leadership, rights, and opportunities for women in society today. During the activity, outstanding women were also recognized for their careers and contributions to social and community development, including Rossi Villeta, Luisa Jiménez de la Mota, Amparo Custodio, Noris García de Almonte, Adelaida Rosa Morilla Gómez, and Laide Germoso Morilla.“Behind these figures are stories of women who plan, invest, and make decisions that impact not only their well-being, but also that of their homes and communities,” said Irlonca Tavarez, Vice President of Business at Alaver.
