Alaver reveals that 52.98% of depositors are women

Women also account for 52.41% of the total balance in savings accounts and maintain a significant presence in investments, financing, and credit cards of the entity.

La Vega.- 52.98% of the savers of the La Vega Real Savings and Loan Association (Alaver) are women, who also hold 52.41% of the total balance in savings accounts, reflecting their active participation in the planning and administration of financial resources.

The data was presented during the panel “Women who transform: leadership, rights and future”, organized by Alaver together with the Chamber of Commerce and Production of La Vega, a space in which figures were shared that evidence the sustained presence of the female segment in the different financial products of the institution. The statistics also reflect a prominent participation of women in the field of investments. Currently, 60.35% of clients with investment products in the entity are women, which shows a growing interest in financial instruments oriented towards wealth growth and long-term planning. In terms of financing, women also maintain a relevant presence. 50.47% of consumer loan clients are women, while 52.76% of mortgage loan clients correspond to the female segment, who also represent 51.11% of the total balance in this type of financing.

Female participation is also reflected in payment methods. In the case of credit cards, 53.71% of Alaver cardholders are women, consolidating their presence in the institution’s various financial portfolio products.

“Behind these figures are stories of women who plan, invest, and make decisions that impact not only their well-being, but also that of their homes and communities,” said Irlonca Tavarez, Vice President of Business at Alaver.

The panel featured the participation of Gloria Reyes, Minister of Women, and Rosa Olga Medrano, president of Grupo Medrano, who shared reflections on leadership, rights, and opportunities for women in society today. During the activity, outstanding women were also recognized for their careers and contributions to social and community development, including Rossi Villeta, Luisa Jiménez de la Mota, Amparo Custodio, Noris García de Almonte, Adelaida Rosa Morilla Gómez, and Laide Germoso Morilla.
