Filmmaker and communicator Alfonso Rodríguez has sparked public conversation once again after revealing that he feels the need to apologize to former President Danilo Medina for the criticisms he made at the time regarding his administration and political leadership.
Rodríguez explained that, with experience and the passing of the years, his assessment of some aspects of Dominican politics has changed, especially regarding the support that, as he understands it, the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) offered to its leaders and members.
The producer also pointed out that during the governments led by that political organization, he perceived a more solid structure to defend and support those who belonged to the party, a comparison that has sparked divided opinions among citizens and political sectors.
