Ambassador Leah Campos visits De Último Minuto newsroom

Santo Domingo.- The United States Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, Leah Francis Campos, paid a courtesy visit to the editorial staff of the digital media outlet De Último Minuto, where she held a meeting with executives, journalists, and part of the editorial team. During the visit, the diplomat toured the facilities accompanied by businessman Santiago Matías, Héctor Romero and José Nova, director and deputy director of the newspaper respectively, who showed her the operation of the newsroom and the television studio where the stellar edition of Noticias De Último Minuto is carried out. During the tour, Campos spoke with journalists, coordinators, and technicians about the information production processes, the impact of digital platforms on news dissemination, and how the work is done for the printed edition of the newspaper, which arrives free of charge quarterly.
