United States Ambassador Leah F. Campos participates in mass in Bayaguana

Bayaguana, Monte Plata.– The United States Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, Leah F. Campos, visited the Santo Cristo de los Milagros National Sanctuary this Friday, where she participated in a Eucharistic celebration alongside local authorities and members of the community.

The diplomat attended the religious temple, one of the country’s main pilgrimage destinations, where she shared during mass with the governor of Monte Plata, Rafaela Javier Gomera, as well as parishioners and visitors.

The Santo Cristo de los Milagros Sanctuary is considered an important meeting point for believers and welcomes people from different provinces every year who arrive in Bayaguana to participate in religious activities.

The diplomatic representative’s visit took place in an atmosphere of reflection and community participation during the religious celebration.
