Los Angeles.- Actress Angelina Jolie has put her residence in Los Angeles, California, up for sale for 29.85 million dollars.

The property, announced by the firm Sotheby’s International Realty, belonged to the film producer and director Cecil B. DeMille and stands out for its historical value.

The extension is located on a plot of 8,093 square meters and has six bedrooms, ten full bathrooms, 1,021.93 square meters of living space and has panoramic views of the Hollywood Hills and the Griffith Observatory.

The 1913 house was designed by architect B. Cooper Corbett, known for his innovative use of concrete at the time and for his work on luxury residences, and acquired by DeMille in 1916.

The producer of films like ‘Sunset Boulevard’ or ‘Samson and Delilah’ expanded his domain with the neighboring residence, the former home of Charlie Chaplin, in 1920.

According to information from the real estate agency, the DeMille family retained the property until the late 1980s.
Jolie bought the residence in 2017, after divorcing Brad Pitt, for $24.5 million, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The sale coincides with the year in which her twins, whom she shares with Pitt, reach the age of majority.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in 2024, the actress indicated that, once that happens, she will be ready to live abroad, as she was in Los Angeles solely for matters related to her divorce.
