Santo Domingo. Banco de Reservas announced this Wednesday the addition of Dominican basketball players Jean Montero and Andrés “Andresito” Feliz as the entity’s new ambassadors, in an initiative that seeks to strengthen its support for sports, promote national values, and tighten the relationship with the Dominican diaspora.

During the event, the executive president of Banreservas, Dr. Leonardo Aguilera, highlighted that both players represent the effort and dedication of Dominicans who have left the country in search of opportunities and who today hold the national flag high.

“They are the representation of what the Dominican diaspora means and the effort of the Dominicans who have had to leave the country. They hold the flag of the Dominican Republic high and now they will also carry the Banreservas flag,” expressed Aguilera.

The executive added that the entity will continue to support Dominicans who project a positive image of the country abroad and valued the support of President Luis Abinader for initiatives that promote national talent.
