Andrés Rafael Féliz Sarita was born on July 15, 1997, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He is a professional Dominican basketball player who plays as a point guard and is considered one of the most prominent figures of Dominican basketball in the European elite.
He grew up in the Guachupita sector, one of the popular neighborhoods in the Dominican capital, where he developed by playing street basketball, a discipline that marked the beginning of his athletic development and served as the foundation for his professional career.
At the age of 16, he emigrated to the United States to continue his academic and athletic training at West Oaks Academy in Orlando, Florida. He later played at Northwest Florida State College and subsequently continued his development in American collegiate basketball with the Fighting Illini of the University of Illinois, where he began to attract attention for his talent and leadership on the court.
In 2021, he made the leap to professional basketball in Europe by signing with Club Joventut Badalona of the Liga Endesa in Spain, where he quickly established himself as one of the most consistent point guards in the competition and was included in the league’s all-star team.
His athletic growth led him in 2024 to sign with Real Madrid, one of the most important clubs in European basketball, where he has competed in the Liga ACB and the EuroLeague, reaching high-level stages such as the Final Four of the continental tournament.
