Valverde. — An intercity bus belonging to the company Caribe Tours slid this Wednesday morning while traveling on the Duarte Highway, at the height of the municipal district of Maizal, in Valverde province, when it was heading to the province of Dajabón.
During the incident, the bus hit a light vehicle, specifically a Toyota Corolla, driven by Mr. Starlyn Yorl Beltre Rodriguez, while the bus was driven by Mr. Cesar Oneidy Chalas Soto.
According to information obtained at the scene, no injuries or fatalities were reported, with only material damage to both vehicles being recorded.
The competent authorities appeared on the scene to carry out the corresponding removal and restore traffic on the road.
