Jarabacoa, La Vega.-A bus from the transport company Caribe Tours caught fire this Thursday afternoon while traveling near the Corazón de Jesús rest stop, in the municipality of Jarabacoa, La Vega province, causing moments of tension in the area.
So far, the authorities have not reported the causes that originated the fire, nor have they confirmed if there were any people injured as a result of the incident.
Units from the Jarabacoa Fire Department arrived at the scene, whose members managed to extinguish the flames and prevent the fire from spreading, while agents and onlookers remained in the vicinity of the vehicle.
