Copa Airlines celebrates the return of the Santiago de los Caballeros – Panama route with a meeting

Santiago.- Copa Airlines celebrated the restart of its flights to and from Santiago de los Caballeros with a gathering that brought together representatives from the business sector, strategic allies, media, and local leaders, in an environment that combined connectivity, hospitality, and lifestyle.


This meeting took place within the framework of the restart of Copa Airlines operations in Santiago de los Caballeros, a route that operates with three weekly frequencies and that strengthens travel options from the north of the country towards North, Central and South America, through the Hub of the Americas, located in Panama City.


During the activity, Ibelca Vásquez, general manager of Copa Airlines in the Dominican Republic, highlighted the special meaning that Santiago has for the airline: “Returning to Santiago is returning to connect with a vibrant, entrepreneurial city deeply linked to the country’s development. Beyond an air route, this restart represents reunions, opportunities, and new stories to tell between the Cibao and the rest of the continent“.


For his part, David Nava, general manager of the AC Hotel Santiago, expressed his satisfaction at being part of this milestone: “For the AC Hotel Santiago it is an honor to have hosted this meeting that celebrates the connectivity and dynamism of the city. Flights between Panama and Santiago operate with three weekly frequencies, facilitating both business trips and family visits and cultural exchange, and reinforcing Santiago’s role as one of the main economic and productive hubs of the Dominican Republic.
