DINTEL arrests man wanted for alleged identity theft and fraud in La Vega

La Vega. – Members of the Regional Intelligence Sub-Directorate (DINTEL) of the National Police arrested a man who was actively sought by the judicial authorities for his alleged involvement in identity theft and fraud through the use of high technology. The detainee was identified as “José Luis Suriel Rosario”, of Dominican nationality, 38 years old, who was wanted by an arrest warrant for his alleged involvement in criminal acts committed to the detriment of Mr. “Gerson Geraldo Paula”. The intervention took place while the agents were carrying out preventive surveillance and intelligence work in this demarcation, as part of the ongoing actions carried out by the National Police to combat technological crimes and strengthen citizen security.

The detainee will be placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the corresponding legal purposes.
