Director of Educational District 14-04 highlights patriotic values on the 182nd anniversary of National Independence

Samaná.— Regarding the 182nd anniversary of the National Independence of the Dominican Republic, the director of the Educational District 14-04, Adalberta Lucía Calcaño Maldonado, highlighted the importance of this date as an opportunity to reflect on the patriotic and educational commitment that unites the entire school community of the province.

The official pointed out that this commemoration invites us to renew the values of identity, freedom, and civic responsibility that gave rise to the nation, and that must continue to be strengthened from the classrooms and homes.

“Education begins in the family, and it is there where the first values that sustain the homeland are formed,” he expressed.

Likewise, he highlighted that the teachers, technicians, and administrative staff of District 14-04 remain firm in their mission to educate with love, work with dedication, and promote inclusive education that contributes to the integral development of each student. He emphasized that the school constitutes a fundamental pillar for strengthening the patriotic sense and contributing to the construction of a more just society.
