DR inaugurates its first Dominicana Tech Week with more than 70 events to boost innovation

Santo Domingo.– The first edition of Dominicana Tech Week officially began this Monday with an inaugural event that kicked off a week of activities focused on strengthening the country’s technology and entrepreneurial ecosystem.

From July 27th to July 31st, thousands of participants will be part of an agenda that includes more than 70 events organized by startups, companies, universities, communities, investment funds, and organizations linked to the development of innovation in the Dominican Republic.

More than just a series of activities, Dominicana Tech Week seeks to become a space for connection between the actors driving national technological growth. Throughout the week, there will be conferences, panels, workshops, networking meetings, technology demonstrations, product launches, and collaboration spaces related to artificial intelligence, venture capital, fintech, cybersecurity, software, digital transformation, and leadership.

The initiative, promoted by Venture.do and Turisteo, aims to strengthen the innovation ecosystem through collaboration between entrepreneurs, companies, investors, and technology communities, generating new business, investment, and learning opportunities.

This first edition will have an estimated participation of more than 5,000 attendees, distributed across activities that will take place in Santo Domingo, Santiago, and Punta Cana, becoming one of the main collaborative efforts to showcase Dominican technological talent.

Dominicana Tech Week is supported by organizations committed to the development of innovation in the country, including the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM), CREE Banreservas, BYD, Digito, H&H Solutions, Pana, Sendiu, Oracle, Sweeney Digital, and Startus.
