Santo Domingo.– The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) reported that this Monday, June 29, the highest maximum temperature so far in the year 2026 was recorded in the country, reaching 39.9 degrees Celsius at the Sabaneta weather station, in Santiago Rodríguez province.
n” “nThe institution explained that this record reflects the intense heat conditions that have prevailed in a large part of the national territory during the last few days, which is why it urged the population to take preventive measures to avoid health problems caused by the high temperatures.
