Cali.- In his presidential inauguration speech for the 2026-2030 term, held at the Pichincha Military Canton, President Abelardo de la Espriella announced decisive security measures and asserted that “the era of the Tiger will be forceful and accurate against crime.”
The president reported that his government will issue an official list of narco-terrorist groups with the aim of providing the Public Force with effective tools for their combat.
“My government will issue the list of narcoterrorist groups with the purpose of providing our glorious Public Force with effective instruments for the frontal combat of crime. The option of dialogue is completely exhausted,” he declared.
De la Espriella was emphatic in pointing out that under his administration there will be no concessions to criminal organizations.
