CALI.- In his presidential inauguration speech for the 2026-2030 term, broadcast from the Pichincha Military Canton, President Abelardo de la Espriella issued the order to combat all criminal structures and presented an ultimatum to criminal gangs and narco-terrorism.

In that sense, he announced that a list of narco-terrorist organizations will be issued for their combat.

The president was emphatic when referring to the security policy that will define his administration.

The nation’s security forces “have a preventive order to combat all criminal structures.” “Criminal gangs and narcoterrorism have two paths: submit to the rule of law or face the determined force of the Colombian State and its public forces,” he maintained.
