The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Friday, July 10, as follows:

Financial institutions reported a purchase rate of RD$65.76 and a selling rate of RD$69.98 for the Euro.

Although a slight marginal depreciation of -0.03% in the purchase price and -0.01% in the selling price was observed on a daily basis compared to the previous day, the long-term trend shows a robust recovery of the national currency.

In the remittance and exchange agent segment, the Euro was quoted this Wednesday at 67.2600 for purchase and 69.3542 for sale

Unlike the banking sector, in this market the peso showed a slight daily appreciation of 0.18% in the buy rate and 0.21% in the sell rate.

As with financial institutions, the balance compared to the end of last year is broadly positive for the local currency, with an accumulated appreciation of 8.85% in the buying rate and 8.55% in the selling rate.
