The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Friday, July 3, as follows:
At the counters of banks and other financial institutions, the euro purchase rate was at RD$65.81, while the selling rate closed at RD$70.10.
These values represent a daily appreciation of 0.10% and 0.16% respectively, compared to the previous day.
For their part, exchange agents reported a purchase rate of RD$67.08 and a selling rate of RD$69.55
In this segment, a daily appreciation of 0.26% was observed in the purchase rate, although the selling rate recorded a slight marginal depreciation of -0.16% compared to the previous day.
.Despite this small daily adjustment in sales, remittance agents also reflect the annual strength of the peso, with an accumulated appreciation of 9.13% in purchases since the end of 2025, when the rate was RD$73.21.
According to the over-the-counter rate survey conducted by the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic, the indicators reflect that the national currency has gained considerable value both compared to the previous month and with respect to the end of last year.
