The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Friday, July 17, as follows:

At the windows of financial institutions, the euro closed with a purchase rate of RD$65.66 and a sale rate of RD$69.75

When comparing these results with the previous day, a mixed behavior is observed in the very short term: a slight appreciation of 0.11% in the purchase rate compared to the previous day, but a depreciation of 0.17% in the selling rate.

For their part, remittance and exchange agents reported rates of RD$66.77 for purchase and RD$68.80 for sale at the close of the previous day.

As with financial institutions, there was a slight daily appreciation in the purchase rate (0.05%) and a depreciation in the sale rate (0.13%) compared to the previous day.

According to the most recent report from the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic, through its Division of Statistics and Foreign Exchange Market Regulation, the European currency has lost more than a tenth of its value so far this year.
