The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Wednesday, August 12, as follows:
In Financial Entities, the purchase rate closed at RD$65.14 and the sale rate at RD$69.50
This represents a slight daily depreciation of the local currency against the euro of between 0.05% and 0.10% with respect to the previous day’s value
While at Remittance and Exchange Agents, the euro was bought at RD$66.58 and sold at RD$68.40
Unlike the banking sector, a slight daily appreciation of the local currency of 0.04% was recorded here.
Despite marginal day-to-day variations, the cumulative trend reflects a robust performance of the national currency against the European currency.
