The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Wednesday, August 5, 2026, as follows:
In financial institutions, the euro purchase rate stood at RD$ 65.06, while the selling rate reached RD$ 69.44.
When comparing these figures with the previous day’s session, a minimal variation of -0.01% is observed in the purchase rate.
However, long-term analysis reveals a significant appreciation of the Dominican peso against the European currency.
For their part, Remittance and Exchange Agents reported a purchase rate of RD$ 66.54 and a sale rate of RD$ 68.36.
In this sector, a daily variation of -0.30% was recorded in the purchase compared to the previous day.
