The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Wednesday, March 18, as follows:

Financial entities have a buying rate of RD$67.94 and a selling rate of RD$72.79.

These values reflect an appreciation of the Dominican peso against the European currency; specifically, the buying rate varied positively by 1.07% compared to the previous day, when it stood at RD$68.67.

If compared to the closing of 2025, where the purchase was at 72.4848, the accumulated appreciation is 6.68%.

For their part, remittance and exchange agents report slightly different figures, with a buying rate of RD$68.83 and a selling rate of RD$72.17

As in financial institutions, a reduction in the cost of the currency has been observed for a month, when the buying rate was at RD$72.54 (a variation of 5.39%).
