The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Wednesday, September 2, as follows:
According to the daily survey, in Financial Entities the average exchange rate for the euro stood at RD$66.01 for purchase and RD$70.29 for sale.
For their part, Remittance and Exchange Agents reported average counter rates of RD$67.22 for purchase and RD$68.88 for sale.
The retail exchange market for the euro began the month of September 2026 showing notable stability in its daily quotes compared to the close of August.
However, the medium and long-term analysis reveals that the European currency is accumulating a significant downward trend against the local currency, recording drops of up to 9.80% compared to the close of the previous year.
