São Paulo.- Four people died this Saturday after the helicopter they were traveling in crashed in a wooded area of the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro, the local Fire Department reported.
The victims were the aircraft’s pilot and three passengers, according to a statement from the agency.
The deceased, whose bodies were found charred, have not yet been identified.
The helicopter crashed in a natural area that is “difficult to access” and close to the Vista Chinesa, a popular viewpoint with panoramic views over the city and the sea.

As shown in the images released by the media, the impact caused a fire at the crash site, which led to the mobilization of military personnel specialized in firefighting.
