Santo Domingo.– International model Jailene Hernández will seek to win the Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2026 crown as the representative of La Vega province, backed by an outstanding career in the fashion and entertainment industry, as well as her commitment to social inclusion.
A certified Pilates instructor and a graduate in Accounting, Hernández has developed an international career that has led her to participate in campaigns and productions alongside renowned Latin music artists, including Karol G, Peso Pluma, and Natti Natasha. She has also been the face and cover model for major projects in the music industry.
With deep vegan roots and a strong bond with the Dominican Republic, she takes on the commitment to represent La Vega in the national pageant, carrying with her the pride and values of her province.
In addition to her modeling career, she promotes Sentidos Vivos, an initiative dedicated to fostering inclusion and well-being for children with autism in the Dominican Republic through activities such as children’s Pilates, sensory stimulation, music therapy, and family integration.
