Santo Domingo – Relatives of Bartolo Reyes, an employee of the Jet Set and survivor of the collapse of the establishment’s roof, denied that he had been abandoned by the owners of the entertainment center, as digital media claimed.“Desde el primer día los señores de Jet Set estuvieron pendientes de cada necesidad médica de Bartolo. Gracias a Dios, él ha logrado recuperarse”, afirmó Josefina Quezada, esposa de Bartolo tras la alta médica de su esposo en el hospital Salvador B. Gautier.
He considered disrespectful the way some media outlets have addressed Reyes’ health condition: “At no time have I said what has been published. It is regrettable that false information that only seeks to do harm is spread to gain likes.”

Quezada asserted that every time she has made public statements it has been to acknowledge the dedication of the medical team that attended to her husband. “I have never denied the help that Jet Set has given him,” she emphasized.For her part, the affected person’s daughter, Leiry Reyes, expressed on her Facebook account: “Please, stop looking for sensationalism where there is none. We ask you to delete those malicious publications that only cause us pain“.
She also denounced that an image was disseminated without authorization, taken from the cell phone of the hospital director. She clarified that her mother never made statements to the media against Jet Set and demanded respect for her family’s privacy.
