Monte Plata. – A man known as “Chichila Coco” died after being struck by a vehicle while riding a motorcycle on Enriquillo Avenue, in front of Plaza Ferreira, in the municipality of Sabana Grande de Boyá.
According to preliminary information, the accident occurred when the driver of a white Jeep Cherokee allegedly performed a maneuver on the road and, presumably, lost control, striking the motorcyclist.
The person driving the vehicle has been preliminarily identified as “Glover”. However, the exact circumstances of the accident and the corresponding responsibilities are still being determined by the authorities.
“Chichila Coco” died at the scene due to the injuries caused by the impact. Their passing caused consternation among residents and people who were in the area.
The corresponding authorities arrived at the scene to carry out the removal of the body and initiate investigations to establish how the accident occurred.
