Man murders his partner and then takes his own life in Moca

Espaillat. – A tragedy shook the night of this Wednesday in the municipality of Moca, where a man killed his sentimental partner and subsequently took his own life, according to preliminary reports offered by the authorities. The victim was identified as Carolina Moscoso Cepeda, who died from injuries allegedly caused by her partner, Ramón Cepeda. According to initial reports, after committing the act, the man committed suicide inside the house where the tragedy occurred. The event took place in the Guauci sector, generating deep consternation among the residents of the community, who described the couple as people known in the area.

Members of the National Police and the Public Ministry appeared at the scene to remove the bodies and initiate the corresponding investigations to clarify the circumstances in which the event occurred. The bodies were sent to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (Inacif) for the legal procedures of place.
